Cortland Byram, ASA, Director, CBIZ Valuation Group, LLC

Mr. Byram is a Director for the Tangible Asset Practice of CBIZ Valuation Group.  He has extensive experience in all aspects of machinery and equipment valuation, including fixed asset consulting, reconciliation projects and detailed inventory analyses as well as the development of complex computerized models to estimate values of large qualities of assets. He is particularly well-versed in the industrial, consumer products, manufacturing, and energy and mining industries.  Mr. Byram has significant experience in the development of studies for purposes of acquisition, divestiture, financing, insurance, leasing, receivership, condemnation and litigation.  He has performed valuations throughout the United States as well as in Canada, Asia and Europe.  Mr. Byram has over 29 years of valuation consulting experience with national appraisal firms, where he has specialized in the valuation of tangible personal property.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public and environmental affairs from Indiana University and is a designated Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers in machinery and technical specialties.
