The March Chapter Meeting has been cancelled because of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
The March Chapter Meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Philadelphia West
in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The Board of Directors will meet at 5:30 pm; all ASA members are welcome. The general meeting starts at 6:30. The guest speaker will be Bruce E. Mowday, President of the Downingtown Pa. Mowday Group, who will talk about “Local Pennsylvania History.”
A graduate of the West Chester University of Pennsylvania, Bruce Mowday is an award-winning author and newspaper reporter, who has hosted his own radio shows and edited magazines. A frequent guest on network radio and TV programs, he is the author of 20 books on history, sports, business and true crime. A past chairman of the Chester County Historical Society and president of the Brandywine Battlefield Park Associates, he is a frequent speaker at civic and historical groups.
Mr. Mowday’s presentation is sure to be of interest to ASA members in all disciplines. As seating for this talk is limited, please RSVP promptly for this educational and entertaining evening which qualifies for 2 hours credit toward ASA reaccreditation.
