My name is Matthew Kutz and I am currently an Associate on the financial reporting team at Valuation Research Corporation. Prior to VRC, I worked as a credit risk associate at JPMorgan Chase. I am a class of 2017 graduate from the Pennsylvania State University where I studied Risk Management and minored in Spanish in the Smeal College of Business. I am pursuing both the ASA and CFA designations. In my free time, I am an avid golfer and tennis player. I grew up in Doylestown, PA and currently live in Philadelphia.

I am currently a Candidate for ASA accreditation in the MTS designation and completed the ASA coursework ME201 through ME204 in 2012. I received USPAP recertification in July 2024.

I work for TD Equipment Finance as an Asset Manager and have been with the company since Sep 2015. Prior to joining TD, I worked for Susquehanna Commercial Finance (acquired by BB&T Bank in 2015) as an Asset Manager for 8 years. Prior to that, I held Equipment Finance roles in Sales, Credit Management, and Operations at GE Capital, CitiCapital, and Tokai Financial Services (acquired by DLL in 1999).

I attended Syracuse University and received a B.S. degree in Business/Marketing Management in 1992.

Eric H. Hencken is a Managing Director with Porto Leone Consulting, LLC (“PLC”) and is responsible for managing Tangible Personal Property Valuations and Cost Segregation Studies. He has provided these services to clients in a variety of industries for over twenty years. Prior to joining PLC, Eric held positions at Standard & Poor’s, PwC, and Arthur Andersen. Eric has extensive valuation experience for Financial Reporting, Business Planning, Insurance Placement, and Due Diligence purposes. Eric has also performed and managed Cost Segregation studies on thousands of properties. He has also been a speaker at several seminars and conferences on various Valuation and Cost Segregation topics. Eric earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in International Business from James Madison University. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”) in Machinery and Technical Specialties with the American Society of Appraisers and is a former President of the Philadelphia Chapter.

Mr. Penny holds the designation of Fellow and Accredited Senior Appraiser (FASA), conferred by the American Society of Appraisers. His discipline focus is Business Valuation. He also holds specialty credentials in Intangible Asset Valuation and Appraisal Review and Management. Mr. Penny has been qualified as an expert witness and testified in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Florida. He has lectured on the topic of business valuation on behalf of the National Center for Employee Ownership and before estate planning groups. He is an instructor for the ASA’s courses in Appraisal Review and Management.

Paul Amenta, ASA MTS Candidate, CGMA, CITP, CPA is the President and Managing Director of MidAtlantic CPA & Valuation Services. Paul is the past President (2024-2025) of the ASA Philadelphia Chapter, is a current Board Member of the ASA Philadelphia and Orlando-Central Florida Chapters and is the current Treasurer of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the ACFE. He previously worked for over 35 years in a multitude of financial accounting and operations roles with several Fortune 100 corporations, most recently serving as the Global Asset Valuation Leader for 14 years in the Medical Systems group at Olympus Corporation of the Americas. He has an undergraduate degree in accounting, a postgraduate certification in Information Science, and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Data Analytics.

Anthony Pumphrey has nearly two decades of experience in valuation engagements for public and private companies in support of business combinations (ASC 805), impairment testing (ASC 350 & 360), stock-based compensation (ASC 718, IRC 409A), reorganizations (ASC 852), and the valuation of other claims within simple and complex capital structures (ASC 820). Mr. Pumphrey is a frequent presenter on valuations for financial reporting, capital markets, and other topics. He has presented before national and local chapters of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and has conducted instructional webinars on behalf of the ASA and Business Valuation Resources (BVR). He has served as a reviewer and contributing author for several publications, including Shannon Pratt’s Valuing A Business (sixth edition). He is currently a member of the Appraisal Foundation’s Working Group preparing a Valuation Advisory focused on the topic of Company-Specific Risk Premiums. Anthony Pumphrey holds a bachelor of business administration (BBA) degree in finance and real estate from Temple University. He also holds the designations of chartered financial analyst (CFA) and accredited senior appraiser (ASA), issued by the CFA Institute and the American Society of Appraisers, respectively.

Steven F. Harski, ASA, CFE has over 35 years of global experience delivering Management Consulting and Advisory Services – Valuations and Appraisals; Forensics and Risk to clients in more than twenty-five industries. His professional credentials and technical expertise are fostered in Big Four accounting, with an international appraisal firm and private practice. Mr. Harski received higher education from Saint Joseph’s University and University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School. He has been tested and certified by both the American Society of Appraisers and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners; earning professional designations of ASA (Accredited Senior Appraiser) and CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner). Mr. Harski is a Principal at T.B. Harski & Associates, L.L.C., founded in 1960. Previously he was with KPMG in Philadelphia/New York and London, United Kingdom. Prior to that, he gained experience with Deloitte & Touché in New York, Coopers & Lybrand (PwC) in Philadelphia, and started his career with American Appraisal Associates in Princeton, New Jersey. He is a Board Director and past President of the American Society of Appraiser’s Philadelphia Chapter. He is Captain of Police Auxiliary Unit – Haddonfield, New Jersey Police Department, and a Law Enforcement First Responder – New Jersey State Police Medical and Emergency Management.

Poonam performed business valuations for litigation services, estate & gift tax reporting, and fair value analyses for financial statement reporting. Her past employers have included Morrison Brown Argiz & Farra, Ladenburg Thalmann, Crowe Horwath, Centri Business Consulting, and CBIZ. She earned an M.S. in Finance, University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MBA, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Bombay University, and Bachelors in Accounting, Sydenham College, Bombay University. She held the certifications of Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) of the American Society of Appraisers, Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) of NACVA, and Certified Business Appraiser (CBA) of the Institute of Business Appraisers. She was past President of the Philadelphia chapter and Miami chapter of the American Society of Appraisers. She has presented educational lectures & webinars; and participated in organizing professional association activities.
