Adrian Ponson

Adrian is a Philadelphia native with over a decade of experience using market research to help commercial real estate investors formulate strategies, raise funds, and close deals. As CoStar’s Director of Market Analytics for Philadelphia, he analyzes a wealth of data on commercial real estate transactions to help clients understand emerging real estate market trends and risks throughout the Philadelphia area. Adrian holds a bachelor’s degree in urban studies and real estate development from the University of Pennsylvania as well as a master’s in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University. 

Philadelphia Commercial Real Estate Trends in a Post-Pandemic World

This presentation will cover the key macroeconomic and demographic trends shaping Philadelphia’s commercial real estate markets as the city and region gradually moves past the pandemic.  Focusing on the apartment, industrial, retail, and office markets, and using high frequency data from CoStar’s platform, Adrian will compare which types of commercial properties are recovering fastest from the pandemic and which are lagging, with an eye on the unique challenges and opportunities facing each sector.  

Meeting Registration Instructions

Please register for this event by selecting the ticket option most applicable. There is no charge for this general meeting for ASA members and non-members may purchase tickets. Students may attend at a reduced rate with the registration fee primarily assisting us in obtaining a headcount for food planning.

Hybrid Option/Covid-19 Considerations

We intend to provide a Zoom Broadcast of this meeting but given that this is the Philadelphia ASA’s first attempt at a hybrid meeting attendance option, please bear with us as we work on quality control and technical issues. 

In addition, out of consideration for our members and guests as well as the the staff at the DoubleTree Hotel, please do not attend this meeting in-person if you do not have full set of vaccinations or are feeling ill the day of the meeting.
