November Meeting: A First Look at USPAP 2020-21

The November Chapter Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at the Doubletree Guest Suites in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The Board of Directors will meet at 5:30 pm; all ASA members are welcome. The general meeting starts at 6:30. The keynote speaker will be Robert J. Luciani, ASA, IFA, who will take “A First Look at USPAP 2020-21.” Mr. Luciani is a PA Certified Real Estate Appraiser & Assessor. He is Deputy Assessor in the Office of Property Assessment for the City of Philadelphia. Chapter Members are familiar with him from the courses he teaches as an AQB (Appraiser Qualifications Board) Certified USPAP Instructor. Newly released, USPAP 2020-21 takes effect January 1, 2020. A significant revision is that the Restricted Appraisal Report may now be used when there are intended users in addition to the client. Mr. Luciani will introduce this and other changes. Mr. Luciani’s presentation is sure to be of value to ASA members in all disciplines.
