The Philadelphia Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers will sponsor a two-hour Pennsylvania Appraisers/Assessors Law Certification Course on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Andy’s Diner, 2224 Lincoln Highway (Rte 1) Trevose, PA 19053 (215-638-1444)
The instructor will be Robert J. Luciani, ASA, IFA, a PA Certified Real Estate Appraiser & Assessor. Mr. Luciani is Deputy Assessor in the Office of Property Assessment for the City of Philadelphia. Chapter Members are familiar with him from the courses he teaches as an AQB (Appraiser Qualifications Board) Certified USPAP Instructor.
The class covers the required topics of the Pennsylvania Real Estate Appraisers Certification Act and the Assessors Certification Law, and the Regulations of the Pennsylvania State Board of Certified Real Estate Appraisers. It emphasizes changes to the laws made during the past two years and offers a refresher on the provisions most relevant to everyday practice.
The Pennsylvania State Board of Certified Real Estate Appraisers requires biennial recertification for State Licensed Appraisers and Assessors, with all certificates expiring on June 30 of odd-numbered years (eg., 6/30/19). This class meets the specific requirement for two (2) appraisal re-certification hours on the Real Estate Appraisers Certification Act.
Please register early for this mandatory class which qualifies for two (2) hours of Continuing Education Credit for Pennsylvania Licensed Appraisers and Assessors.
Tuition for the class is $45 per person, which includes all course materials and lunch at noon, and may be paid by check or online. PLEASE NOTE: Mr. Luciani will conduct two (2) Pennsylvania Continuing Ed classes for Appraisers and Assessors at Andy’s Diner on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, a 3-HR Pennsylvania Understanding Leases Course ($65) from 9:00 am to noon, and a 2-HR Pennsylvania Appraisal Law Course ($45) from 1:00-3:00 pm.
